When weighing the business decision of installing EV chargers, convenience-store retailers must consider a lot of details, according to Mike Prinzi, President of PPR Energy Solutions, an EV installation, electrical contracting and consulting company based in Buffalo, New York, that installed Love’s chargers.
PPR partnered with Charge Point for Love’s installation, an EV charger manufacturer based in Campbell, California, and provides installation of Charge Point equipment. In addition to installation, PPR also guides convenience-store retailers and other businesses through initial design, paperwork for incentives, construction, commissioning, activation and ensuring the charging works on public networks properly, says Prinzi. It also offers maintenance, post installation.
